Creating a green manufacturing space
Our client, Takeda Pharmaceutical set out to have a zero-energy building for its Woodlands manufacturing site. With the hybrid of innovative design and solutions, one of its buildings is now able to produce more renewable energy than it consumes. This building is among seven recipients of the Green Mark Platinum Positive Energy award in Singapore, acknowledging its capacity to produce a minimum of 115% of its energy needs through on-site renewable sources.
We were awarded the project encompassing the following scope:
- Detailed Design and Simulation
- Mechanical & Electrical System Installation
- Testing & Commissioning of Solar System
The building has more than 550 solar photovoltaic panels covering an area of 1,600 m2 which generate between 30MW and 40MW of electricity each month.
