Leadership

Mr. Ben TENG has over 20 years of experience in infrastructure projects and holds an Honours degree in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He has held key roles, including Infrastructure Manager at Changi Airport Investments and Vice President at CNA Integrated Technologies in Dubai, where he oversaw mergers, acquisitions, and business development in the Gulf region. In 2011, he became Head of Commercial and Risk Management for Abu Dhabi Airports Company’s USD3.5 billion Midfield Terminal Complex. Since 2016, Mr. Teng has pursued entrepreneurship, investing in Singapore companies in the UAE. He is currently the Managing Director of Vector Green Pte Ltd and a Senior Accredited Director, and a member with the Singapore Institute of Directors.

He’s currently the Chief Financial Officer and co-founder of a cybersecurity software and services systems integrator, with 3 years as Chief Corporate Officer and Chief Financial Officer of a technology company traded on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, 10 years as Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer of a shipowner company with vessels operating in Singapore, Middle East, Malaysia, China, Indonesia and the Netherlands, 11 years as an external auditor with Deloitte & Touche Singapore and companies in trading and shipbuilding. He’s also member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

    • Breaking new ground into the Worker Dormitory space using smart building technologies to enable Dormitory Operators to introduce a new business model into their existing business. Vector Green was awarded a project to implement a utility (energy and water) billing system in Sungei Tengah Lodge, Singapore’s largest worker dormitory, involving 6600 endpoint devices to track and manage utilities. Vector Green teamed up with Tuya, as a smart device partner, for this project.
    • Vector Green and Univers awarded the energy and carbon monitoring project for DBS bank, the system will be implemented throughout 47 DBS sites across Singapore.

    • Changi Airport Group awards Vector Green and Univers the Terminal 3 HVAC Optimisation Full-Scale Implementation Project
    • Vector Green was commissioned to deliver more than 140 HDB blocks from Solar Nova Phase 5, 7 and 8.

    • Vector Green successfully onboarded with Sembcorp Solar and was awarded with our first Sembcorp Solar CNI project.
  • Q2

     
    • Scaling up of organic workforce by more than five times, to support a higher volume of solar projects in the pipeline. Core design, engineering and installation competencies and processes reviewed and optimised.
    • Vector Green officially participates in Solar Nova 7 together with Sembcorp Solar as one of the key EPCs, taking on a total of 25 HDB blocks under SN7 Batch 1 and 2.

    • Vector Green successfully delivered Changi Airport’s HVAC Optimisation Proof-of-Concept with Univers, achieving up to 20% energy savings for the system in Terminal 3.

    • Final Phase for HDB Device Leasing Tender (phase 4 – Ministry of National Development) awarded to Vector Green through ST Engineering.

    • Vector Green re-strategises its solar business to expand into a full lifecycle solution by taking a stake in EtaVolt (a NTU startup) as an angel investor, onboarding two new cutting-edge solar technologies into our services, Regeneration and Recycling.

    • Vector Green builds up our Professional Service arm to provide value-added services in the respective business pillars, addressing both Operations & Maintenance Services, and Digital Projects Delivery Specialist Services.
    • Awarded our first 5-year O&M service contract for the HDB Device Leasing Project.

    • First major government project award of SGD 3.5M for digital energy and asset monitoring system under the HDB Device Leasing Tender (phases 1 to 3) through ST Engineering.

    • Vector Green established its second business pillar focusing on Solar implementation.
    • Received its first batch of HDB blocks under Solar Nova Phase 4 through Sunseap.

    • Vector Green takes on our first Solar CNI project for Takeda Pharmaceuticals awarded by Sunseap.
    • Entered into a strategic partnership with Univers (previously known as Envision Digital) to further enhance Vector Green’s offerings in the software space for both Solar and Digital Energy and Asset Management solutions.
