Project Overview

As part of its efforts to improve energy sustainability across its logistics operations, Nippon Express adopted on-site solar generation at its warehouse to reduce reliance on grid electricity and support the transition towards lower-carbon operations. Vector Green was appointed to design and deliver the large-scale rooftop solar PV system.

The project involved the installation of 2,743 solar panels, delivering a total installed capacity of 1,590.94 kWp (1.59 MWp). Vector Green was responsible for the end-to-end implementation, covering detailed system design and simulation, regulatory submissions and approvals, mechanical and electrical installation, as well as testing and commissioning. By turning available warehouse rooftop space into a source of renewable energy, the completed system enables Nippon Express to generate clean electricity on-site while supporting more sustainable and energy-efficient logistics operations.
