The Opportunity
With 76 locations across Singapore, including branches and offices, UOB needed a reliable way to monitor and track energy usage and system alerts in real time. Ensuring accurate monitoring across multiple sites was critical to improving operational oversight, preventing equipment downtime, and supporting efficiency initiatives.
Our Approach
As part of this large-scale iBMS implementation, we deployed the VG Core Utilities & Asset Management solution to handle the installation and configuration of all hardware components. Our team installed and optimised sensors, meters, and monitoring devices at each UOB property, ensuring that the new Micro-BMS system could accurately capture utility consumption, MEP system status, and indoor environmental data.
Through careful hardware placement and configuration, VG Core enabled seamless integration of the Micro-BMS into the broader iBMS, providing UOB with reliable, consistent monitoring across all locations. This setup ensures that energy and water usage, as well as system alerts and indoor air quality data, are captured accurately, forming a solid foundation for real-time monitoring and future operational optimisation.
The Outcome
With VG Core’s hardware installed and fully configured, UOB now benefits from consistent, standardised monitoring across 76 branches and offices. Facility teams can track energy and water consumption, monitor MEP system status, and ensure indoor environmental conditions are maintained effectively. The scalable and reliable hardware deployment provides the foundation for improved operational efficiency and supports UOB’s broader iBMS objectives.
